Thank You Tuesday

Thank You Tuesday

Faithful Fatherhood
Reading Time: < 1 minute

So the last couple of weeks have been great in that I have gotten a lot done writing and reading, but otherwise pretty difficult, with life changes. One of the things that has kept me stable has been the outstanding sermon series on Exodus from The Village Church and Matthew West’s music.
So, this week’s Thank You Tuesday goes to Matthew West and Matt Chandler
Matthew West’s “Broken Things” song has really been inspiring to listen to and helpful for resting in God, and I recently realized how much I enjoyed all of his previous work.
Matt Chandler is lead pastor at The Village Church, and it is a difficult thing to step into the Old Testament for 30 weeks in today’s climate where the God of the Old Testament is so often at the worst despised and at best shunned. However, sometimes we have to look back at all that God has done for us to move forward. It is remembering the ups and the downs and the faithfulness of God in those times that allows us to move forward in life.
So thanks to two men who will probably never know me nor I them, but their faith helped bolster mine by the Grace of God.
