Welcome to my Home! A website has frequently been described as a home. As such, I have some house rules.
- Be a good guest. If you wouldn’t say it to your best friend or mom, then don’t say it to someone else on this website. It’s not that your ideas don’t need to be heard. Take a second and consider how they will be heard.
- Ask as many questions as you can. I love questions and good questions beget better questions. I want to interact with you, and I hope you’ll interact with me and others.
- Laugh! What’s the point of coming to someone’s home if you can’t laugh with (at?) them? Hopefully, there will be some funny stories here that will tickle you.
A little about what you will find here:
This website hosts the Faithful Fatherhood blog. A blog about the intersection of being a faithful dad. If you think I have all the answers, you have come to the wrong place. This is a place of community. We share stories: successes and failures. Beyond the dad stories, I am writing about bringing God into my life. That is going to look different over the years. If you see something wrong with what has been posted, please refer to rule 1. Bringing God into parenting is an almost impossible task, but it is one I want to be better equipped for and one that I hope you can be better equipped for by visiting this website. It might be directly about parenting. It might also be about broader topics of theology. Be open and learn something and if you do or don’t like something please post as rule 1 dictates.
Beyond the blog, I am working on my first book which is closing in on publishing time. This is a great place to contact me about the book, speaking engagements and learn news about my current book and future books. For example, there will be a poll for the title of my upcoming book in July of 2018.
Building community through email.
